"Sweet Urinals" explores the idea of the functional transformation and repurposing of objects. The installation evokes bulk candy containers and the produce section of a grocery store. It shares a positive gustatory feeling, with these delicious candies, and another of disgust, in relation to the containers that are the urinals. The work also aims to be humorous and prompts a rethinking of the psychological and ingrained relationships that humans maintain with objects.
